My name is Louise Field and I am a practising midwife, qualified maternity practitioner, mother of two young children and have undertaken training in tongue tie division. I also have indepth breastfeeding knowledge and am a certified Lactation Consultant. My midwifery practice is regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. I offer a home service whereby I will see you in your own environment. A holistic approach will be taken to support and assess your individual needs. If I am visiting to assess a possible tongue tie, comprehensive feeding support is given to you and your baby/ies. I will assess feeding, pinpoint any difficulties and determine the presence and division of tongue tie should it be necessary. Whether you are breast or bottle feeding or doing a mixture of both the visits are tailor made to offer you evidence based advice and help that suit your individual needs. I am passionate about making the journey a more enjoyable one and have been offering feeding support for over eighteen years. I can also include feeding plans and tips to try and reduce problems such as colic, wind and reluctance to suck.
